Barron Brome (Bromus sterilis)
Annual or hardy-annual grass weed forming loose tufts. Leaves light green to purple. Culms erect, completely hairless. Numerous flowers, with very long dorsal arista attached high, flowering from spring to midsummer. Prefers damp to moist, free draining soils.
