Knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare)
Annual weed with spindle-shaped root. Leaves are elliptical or lanceolate to linear emerging
from a thin stalk. Flowers summer to autumn with small, short-pedunculate,
pink or greenish-white flowers. Almost all soil types.
