MOSS in TURF
Moss is a primitive plant that can invade turf in damp or shaded conditions having a detrimental effect on the surface. Where moss is a persistent problem, it often indicates some fundamental weakness in the turf and treatment with a moss killer is often only a short-term answer. The long term solution to moss is to tackle the underlying conditions using cultural techniques, however in the short term a simple treatment with a moss-killing product will help.
