CLEARING FAIRY RING TREATMENT 2.5LTR

A blend of surfactants formulated to alleviate the symptoms of all types of fairy rings.

Fairy rings are common on all types of turf in the UK, with the symptoms being most noticeable during hot, dry weather. They are caused by a fungal growth in the soil which, as well as the surface problems, can cause soil to become water repellent.

There is no approved fungicide in the UK for fairy ring treatment, but research has shown that the activities of fairy rings can be reduced significantly if they are re-wetted. Vitax Clearing has been developed as a result of this research.

It is a blend of surfactants specially developed to assist water to penetrate into the dry soils colonised by fairy rings. Its use allows the soil containing the fairy ring mycelium to be re-wetted leading to a decline in fungal growth which allows grass to re-colonise the affected rootzone.

It is effective against superficial fairy rings (thatch fungi) and Types 1,2 and 3 rings and can be applied to individual rings or as an overall treatment. Turf colour and grass re-growth will be evident within a month and the ring of affected grass will gradually disappear.

Application: 400ml in 1- 20 litres of water per 100m² (40 ltr in 1000 – 2000 litres of water per hectare)
