B-NINE SG PLANT GROWTH REGULATOR 1KG

Containing the active ingredient daminozide, B-Nine is the most effective and safe of the Plant growth regulator products.

Highly effective at controlling stem elongation, the product also has the additional benefits of producing a more compact, robust plant that is more uniform and has improved branching and flowering.

B-NINE SG is a growth regulator which reduces the internode length of a number of ornamental plants, thus producing compact and robust plants. Foliage tends to be greener and the plants more able to withstand drought and transport stresses. The period of saleability of many plant types can be extended.

B-NINE SG can be used on a wide range of ornamental plants grown under protection. For use on protected ornamental plants not specified on the label, growers are advised to test B-NINE SG in small pilot trials to assess the efficacy and crop safety of the product under their local conditions and cultivars grown, before more wide-scale use.

RESTRICTIONS
Response to treatment with B-NINE SG differs widely depending on variety, stage of growth and physiological condition of the plant. It is not possible to establish one precise dose rate for the individual species because the dose depends not only on the plant species and variety, but also on growth factors such as water, fertiliser, light intensity, stage of plant at first application, and the effect that the user wants to achieve.

Under some conditions and on some varieties, B-NINE SG may delay flowering. Effects on final bloom number, size and colour have not been fully established. Always test on a small scale any new variety to observe if symptoms occur, before large scale use.

Do NOT use on the Chrysanthemum variety Fandango.
Do NOT mix B-NINE SG with other spray chemicals, unless specifically recommended.

Spray when foliage is dry.

Apply only to turgid, well watered plants. Best results are obtained when the application is made in late afternoon, when the glasshouse has cooled down from the heat of the day.

Plants should not be watered for 24 hours after application of B-NINE SG.
