Ice Clear is recommended as an environmentally friendly alternative to common Rock Salt, reducing soil contamination and pollution to waterways.

Ice Clear is up to 5 times more effective than conventional Rock Salt down to -20C and one 25kg sack is sufficient to treat 500sq.mtrs.

Ice Clear is ideal for sloping paths or uneven surfaces. Ice Clear flakes will lie where they fall, preventing slipping and wasted spread. When walked on creates friction to increase melting properties whilst penetrating the ice and breaking its bond to the surface.

Even if re-freezing occurs, the unique ice penetrating action of Ice Clear will ensure that the surface remains safer to walk on.

The product is less noxious to plants and animals and less corrosive than conventional Rock Salt. Use sparingly – a little of this product goes a long way.
